Award champion with eco-ambitions.
Rondo received the “Special Innovation Prize” of the State Prize for Smart Packaging for the “Clever Shipping Box”. This solution with a return function is made of 100% corrugated cardboard – without plastic. The inner lid with return label becomes the outer lid.
Light packaging shows strength.
The MC box made of corrugated cardboard can carry up to three tons, but is lighter than wooden or metal packaging. Thanks to a special process from Walz Verpackungen, it offers exceptional stability – robust, cost-effective, environmentally friendly and easy to handle.
Customers as drivers of innovation.
“At Rondo, customer focus is crucial in the innovation process,” explains Mark Kanamüller, Sales Manager for Corrugated Cardboard Frastanz. Together with a customer, Rondo developed an L-shaped packaging for sanitary facilities that halves logistics and storage costs and is fully recyclable.
