‘Innovation and sustainability: that was “EMPACK 2024” in Bern’
EMPACK 2024, the leading Swiss trade fair for cutting-edge and sustainable packaging solutions, machines and technologies, will open its doors at BERNEXPO on 24 and 25 January 2024. Under the motto ‘The Future of Packaging’, the trade fair is expecting more than 170 exhibitors in a duo with ‘LOGISTICS & AUTOMATION 2024’.
The largest Swiss trade fair for packaging technology and packaging solutions ‘EMPACK’ will take place from 24 to 25 January 2024 at BERNEXPO in Bern. The event brings together decision-makers, experts and companies from the packaging industry to present and discuss the latest developments, trends and innovations in this dynamic sector
The Swiss packaging industry joined 92 well-known exhibitors and partners at ‘EMPACK 2023’ in Zurich to showcase its latest products, services and solutions. On the two days of the trade fair, 25 and 26 January 2023, 3621 visitors attended the double trade fair in Zurich. With ‘The future of packaging’ as the main theme of the trade fair, the participating companies and associations presented the latest technologies, services and products. The parallel trade fair ‘LOGISTICS & AUTOMATION’ also set a new record with an extremely satisfied 90 exhibitors.
The ‘EMPACK’ and ‘LOGISTICS & AUTOMATION’ trade fair duo not only impressed 3621 visitors who came to the double trade fair in Zurich on 25 and 26 January 2023.
The Swiss packaging industry will meet at ‘EMPACK 2023’ in Zurich. The main theme of the trade fair, which takes place from 25 to 26 January 2023, is ‘The future of packaging’. It will focus on the latest solutions and services for ecological, future-oriented and sustainable packaging developments. The Swiss packaging industry is gearing up for ‘EMPACK 2023’ in Zurich with over 90 well-known exhibitors and partners to present their latest products, services and solutions. We present the first statements from exhibitors on the main theme of the trade fair ‘The future of packaging’ from 25 to 26 January 2023. In less than four months, the Swiss packaging industry will be presenting its latest products, services and solutions with over 70 well-known exhibitors and partners at ‘EMPACK 2023’ in Zurich. The main theme of the trade fair ‘The future of packaging’ from 25 to 26 January 2023 is already motivating exhibitors to prepare themselves well for an informative exchange of knowledge. In the newly created special ‘Science Experience Area’, the ZHAW Wädenswil (Centre for Food Production and Packaging) and the HSR Hochschule für Technik Rapperswil (Department of Plastics Research), among others, will present their latest solutions and services for ecological, future-oriented and sustainable packaging developments.
The Swiss packaging industry with over 70 key players will meet at ‘EMPACK 2023’ from 25 to 26 January. The leading national event at Messe Zürich will once again invite visitors to discover, learn and network. The main theme of the trade fair and the accompanying programme, ‘The future of packaging’, also does justice to the current challenges of price increases and resource scarcity and highlights new approaches and strategies. From 30 to 31 March 2022, BERNEXPO hosted the central national industry meeting point for the Swiss packaging scene. With 77 exhibitors and a diverse supporting programme, the 13th edition of ‘EMPACK’ offered the 2,800 visitors a comprehensive range of specialist topics and innovations. The long-awaited live networking was appreciated by all sides and offered the opportunity to make a successful start to the current trade fair year and to find out about all facets of sustainability, the circular economy and climate protection.

From 30 to 31 March 2022, BERNEXPO will host ‘EMPACK’, the central national meeting place for the Swiss packaging industry. 70 exhibitors have already registered and preparations are in full swing. Thanks to the support of the competence partner Swiss Packaging Institute (SVI), a varied supporting programme has been put together. The concentrated expertise in specialist topics and innovations will enable relaxed networking to kick-start the economic upturn.

Easyfairs’ greatest endeavour is to organise a successful and safe trade fair for all exhibitors, partners and visitors so that the trade fair objectives can be achieved under optimal conditions. The leading national trade fairs ‘EMPACK 2020’ and ‘LOGISTICS & DISTRIBUTION 2020’ remain an important building block in the Swiss packaging and logistics industry. The date for the industry event has been postponed to the autumn due to the Covid-19 pandemic and will now take place in Zurich from 18 to 19 November. There is great relief in the industry that the Federal Council has allowed large-scale events again from 1 October.
